Logging food

Find it, scan its barcode, snap a photo, or just add the numbers.

On Food, add to a meal:

  • Find: a food you've had before, or one from the catalogue. Scan a barcode to look a product up on Open Food Facts, then check what it found against the label.
  • Photo: an AI estimate from a picture of your plate, if you've turned that on.
  • Quick add: just the numbers, when you know them.
  • New food: one of your own, for next time.

The command palette (⌘K, or the search button) logs too: type "200g chicken breast", check what it found, and press Enter.
